About this game

In Brazil's most hotly contested fighting arena, twelve roosters with different fighting styles compete for the title of King of the Arena.

Galo Fighter is a 2D pixel art fighting game, made for mobile screens and short matches. Best of three, large on-screen controls, and a cast where each rooster plays in a truly unique way.

STORY MODE
Choose one of the twelve roosters and go through the eleven fights of their campaign. Each rooster has their own story, their own reason for entering the Cup, and their own ending. There are over one hundred written scenes, one for each encounter.

ARCADE
Eight fights, randomly selected bracket, short session. For when you have fifteen minutes.

DIFFICULTY THAT DOESN'T STOP YOU
The ladder goes up when you win and goes down when you lose, never sending you back to the beginning. Lost in fight five? Fight five becomes the difficulty of four. Did it pass? Six goes back to normal. Nobody gets stuck in a wall.

TWELVE ROOSTERS, TWELVE WAYS TO PLAY
Kaeté has no weak point. Lica is the fastest in the cast. Marreta hits harder than anyone and pays dearly when he misses. Faquir reaches from afar and falls with two good hits. Sumo endures what nobody else can. The balance between them is measured by simulation, not by eye.

PROGRESS SAVED
Closed the app in the middle of the campaign? It continues from where it left off.

REAL COMBAT
Beak, spur, grab that goes through the guard, special and super. Normal strike cancels into special and special cancels into super, so a combo here is a combo. Whoever only closes the guard doesn't raise the Cocoricó bar: it locks in two-thirds and the last piece only comes out hitting.

THE TURNAROUND OF DESPERATION
With life almost over, defending well fills the bar four times faster. A rooster one blow from defeat who holds off three exchanges comes out with the super move in hand. The cock-a-doodle-doo takes fifteen percent of life at once, and when it's the blow that decides the fight, the screen goes into slow motion.

Art, characters, folk music and vocabulary: all Brazilian. No blood, no injury, no betting. It's caricature, it's championship, it's fun.

Ele abaixa para segurar a rasteira, fica em pé para defender o jump-in, corta o seu pulo, pune golpe errado e cobra quando você fica preso. Golpe rápido ainda passa: ele reage, não adivinha.

A campanha também não começa mais no modo passeio. Quem quiser a escada antiga é só escolher Fácil na configuração.
