Update 2025: reached out to support, their reply was that the app 'works just fine' when it doesn't... They won't even look into it. Update 2024: you can't even log in anymore because the login page is just an error message. It has been like this for weeks! Is this gonna be fixed??? Logs out by itself and now I can't log back in at all.

The app and functionality are ok and suit their purpose. The only thing that is really annoying; for something that needs to be used in between activities at a cash register it takes too long to start the app. Slow internet connection (some supermarkets are in concrete buildings); even slower. The only thing I need 90% of the times I open the app, is the barcode. I use a screenshot to scan the barcode now. Can the barcode be shown immediately, loading all other features in the background?

User isn't gracefully advised to use the new app, instead of showing the barcode and letting them know the app has reached the end of life, you are forced to download the new app and login again all whilst standing at the checkout holding up the line.
