Plut is a local marketplace for food grown, baked and made on your own block. Eggs collected this morning. Sourdough still warm. Tomatoes, honey, jam and seedlings from the people a few doors down. See what is available within walking distance, pay in the app, and pick it up off the porch.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Find it. The map shows every seller within your radius — as a rough area, never a pin on their front door. Filter by produce, baked goods, eggs and dairy, preserves, meals, drinks, plants and flowers.
2. Pay safely. Your payment is held by Plut, not sent straight to the seller. The moment it clears, the seller's exact address and porch instructions unlock for you.
3. Walk over and pick it up. Enter the pickup code, both of you confirm, and only then is the seller paid. If nobody picks up within 7 days, your money comes back automatically.

YOUR ADDRESS STAYS PRIVATE

A seller's home address is shown to one buyer, for one order, only after payment — and it closes again once the pickup is done. Everyone else sees a neighborhood, not a door. Chat stays inside the app, so nobody needs to hand out a phone number.

NEIGHBORS YOU CAN TRUST

Sellers verify that they live where they sell: a GPS check standing on their own porch, a utility bill, or a photo ID and selfie check. Sellers who upload a food handler certificate get a checkmark on every food listing. Reviews are double-blind — neither side sees the other's until both are in — so ratings stay honest. Anything that doesn't belong can be reported or blocked in a tap.

FOR HOME COOKS, BAKERS AND GROWERS

List in one screen: photo, price, quantity, pickup window and a note about where on the porch to look. Perishables can expire on their own so nothing stale stays up. Plut counts your cottage-food sales against your state's yearly limit and warns you well before you reach it. Mark an order porch-ready, and get paid when the pickup is confirmed. Plut Elite, an optional subscription for sellers, removes the commission and adds priority placement, one-tap broadcasts to past buyers and recurring porch boxes.

PLUT POINTS

Earn points on every completed pickup, for five-star reviews, for bringing a reusable bag, and when a neighbor you invited makes their first purchase or sale. Spend them for money off at checkout.

MORE THAN A STORE

A neighborhood board for seed swaps, garden questions and what's coming out of the oven this weekend. Follow your favorite sellers and get a nudge when they restock.

OPENING ZIP BY ZIP

Plut opens one ZIP code at a time, once enough neighbors and sellers have joined. If yours is still gathering, you'll see how close it is — and you can invite the neighbors who would tip it over.

Plut is for adults 18 and over. Sellers are responsible for following their local cottage-food rules.
