The app could use some design work, but other than that, it works perfectly! It's great to finally be able to pay with a QR code after all this time. The fare capping is awesome too.

As of July 27, 2026 St. Louis Metro Transit said Please be advised that the only app we are encouraging passengers to download is the TRANSIT APP. At this time, our developers are making adjustment to the Ride On App and we do not have a date in which this app will be fully functionable. Please refrain from advising passengers to utilize the Ride On App.

This app doesn't tell u about your current status balance when u try to link your Metro Ride On Smart Card on the app totally disappointed

What’s new

You can now use your phone as a travel pass. When you open the app, you can now register your device as a payment method.
