Orbital is a modern, minimalist analog watch face for Wear OS. The hour sits on its own small dial that drifts around the centre as the minutes pass. Always turning to stay upright, Orbital still reads like a normal clock while the face is quietly in motion.

Instead of the fixed hour hand of an ordinary analog face, Orbital carries the hour on a compact sub-dial that travels around the face opposite the minute hand and counter-rotates to keep its numerals upright. The wandering-hours idea is inspired from mechanical watches that use an oil-based display, rebuilt flat on true black. A short teardrop hand inside the sub-dial points to the hour, and the 12-mark hour track fills from the top as the hours go by.

Pick one colour for the whole minute ring and another for the whole hour dial, from a palette of 54 — a full spectrum plus white, a set of muted earth tones, and three greens. Every two-tone combination is built to work on the black background.
