About this game

SIMULACRA 3 continues the narrative-driven found-phone horror game series. The once charming town of Stonecreek has seen better days. People are vanishing into thin air, leaving nothing behind but strange symbols where they were last seen. Your only lead is the phone of a missing investigator. Armed with a map app and a trail of creepy videos, delve into the darkest corners of the digital realms as you investigate the horrors seen on his phone and in Stonecreek.

Huge fan of the Simulacra series, but I felt this one was too short. Some cool new concepts were introduced, and a pretty good script with relevant commentary on current affairs, but definitely should be longer. They had a lot of material to work with in the story (e.g., could have added more missing persons cases and expounded more on the lore), I think, but the ending felt so abrupt.

I don't even have the words to describe how disappointed I am about this game. It had no horror in it like the first game & SIM. Simulacra 2 was so-so but it was a lot better than this garbage. I went into this game expecting "Phasmophobia" but I got "Scooby Doo Mysteries" instead. Add in the numerous typos, laughable "jump scares", & the timed choices which were carried over from the second game (I HATE these with a fiery passion!) & you're left with this let down.

Been waiting for this game for months. I am truely impressed at all of the effort that was put into this. The game mechanics were quite unique and I am glad that the atlas app was not just a clone of the WARDEN app from the second game. To be honest, I am kind of disappointed at how the simulacrum was portrayed though. I mean, it was impressive but unless you saw a specific hidden document in Pipe Dreams none of this would have made sense. I mean, the tapes sort of explained it but not all of it
