About this game

This is the trial version of Chess PGN Master, a learning and study tool for chess amateurs and professionals alike. In order to improve in chess, apart from playing lots of games, it is essential to

● study chess games from masters and to try to understand why the moves were played
● study endgame positions
● gain a basic knowledge of the openings you play

Chess PGN Master helps you with these tasks by making it easy to

● enter your own games and blunder check them

Ratings and reviews

This app has a lot of potential, and I would love it except for one major flaw. It allows (and recommends, and plays with!) infinite repeated moves. That isn't chess. In chess, we cannot repeat a position three times, or it is a draw. This app doesn't respect that rule, so it therefore must be playing something other than chess. As I see it, this is a huge problem. It means that when analyzing a game, it is getting stuck in endless loops and recommending moves that would result in a draw.

Very good app. The only thing I miss is randomizing the order of the games in the PGN file, i.e., making the app not choose the next game in sequence, but a random one. I use it mostly as a tactics trainer in guess the move mode, I also use thematic and easy tactics to increase the chance of seeing tactics in game — a type of training that would have been optimized if the tactics had been entered randomly. I also like that it can accept sublines written into the PGN file. Thanks

very usefull app and probably best yo keep chess notes in form of annotated PGN. Support team is also nice, one can mail gherald at any time and within 1-2 days issues are resolved. If someone feels issues with app , or with its features make sure to reach gherald through his email id or go through the user manual.This app is surely the GOAT 🐐 of chess analysis apps.
