Deleted a photo you needed? Boring Data Recovery scans the places Android still keeps your files and helps you bring them back — no root required.

WHAT IT FINDS
• Photos, videos and audio sitting in the system trash bin, which Android keeps for up to 30 days after deletion
• Media still indexed on your device, so you can rescue anything before it is gone for good
• Documents on your storage: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and archive files
• Contacts from .vcf backup files already on your phone

HOW RECOVERY WORKS
Files you select are COPIED into a folder named "Recovered" in your gallery and file manager. Your originals are never moved, altered or deleted, so a scan can never make things worse.

CONTACT RECOVERY
• Export your entire phone book to a single .vcf file with one tap
• Find .vcf backups already on your storage and restore contacts from them
• Duplicate protection: contacts you already have are skipped, so restoring twice never doubles your phone book
• Recently deleted contacts can often be undone before your account syncs

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
This app has no internet permission at all. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, no analytics and no advertising. Everything happens on your device.

BEING HONEST ABOUT LIMITS
Without root access, no Android app can rebuild files that have been fully erased and overwritten — including apps that claim otherwise. What this app does is find everything the system still holds: the trash bin, the media index and loose files on your storage. For the best results, scan as soon as you notice something is missing.
