This game did an update recently that has made it horrible to play offline. The game freezes the deck every other play and doesnt play cards down unless needed. I have won with the "opponent" having a score between -679 to 120. The game is also lagging when the "opponent" picks up the pile. Not sure what that is about. This is no longer a fun game to play.

The latest update made the computer players terrible to play with. Even with the opponents at level 1 difficulty and my computer partner at level 5 difficulty, my partner makes horrible plays and the other team wins most of the time because of it. Our stats do not show any difference at all anymore. I'm uninstalling, whereas prior to this update I would have given the app 5 stars. Absolutely ridiculous.

Update: took away 2 stars after most recent "upgrade" touting improved AI. What a joke, the AI is even worse than it was before and makes terrible decisions. While the game functions well, I'm not sure the developers have ever actually played a game of canasta in their lives. The "strategy" used by the computer controlled players makes no sense and frequently benefits the other team more. Good time waster, but don't expect a real challenge or any actual help from your partner.
