So far, so good. I love the customization it allows for rules, hand style set up, and most importantly, the overall gameplay! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the look and feel of the game. The buttons are very large and childish looking... like the colors, font, and icons are more suited for a children's game. I also think I would prefer to see just the bids rather than people/avatars. Sometimes less is more. Keep it simple, sleek, and geared more towards grown ups.

I absolutely LOVE THIS GAME and I'd recommend it to any long term players only reason I'm giving 4 outta 5 is due to the ratings. When you win a game against evenly matched players it doesn't reward you not even with a full point? But when you lose a whole one gets deducted regardless of gameplay? You can be partnered with an overly matched player and get even less rewards. So when you win 2 matches then lose 1 there goes A LOT of progress AND TIME! I think you could do better with rewards.

The points you win depend on your opponents team’s rating compared to your team’s. You get 1 point for winning an equally-rated team, more than 1 for a stronger one and less than 1 for a weaker. In most cases 2 teams are within 10 rating points of each other, so you win between 0.9 and 1.1

I have played this Spades games for a long time. I like the simplicity and the ease of use. The players have even got better since my previous review a few years ago. The ads did seem far, play a hand, watch a simple ad. But if you think I am going to sit thru 30+ seconds of ads or 2 to 3 ads per ad break, you have lost your ever-loving mind. Youtube generally on required 5 seconds for a few minutes of viewing. Don't be greedy. Set the ads back to a fair exchange of a hand of play. Thanks!!!
