It's a good game overall. But somtimes (often) North makes the dumbest moves. Examples: Picks up a huge pile and doesn't meld most of it, East goes out while North still has 25+ cards in hand. Puts a wild card on a meld to make a canasta and then discards the card which would have made it a natural canasta, discards meldable cards. I need a different partner! Plays well otherwise. A lot of the complaints that I see here, I don't experience. 577 games played, 94.8% wins.

The algorithm has room for improvement. The built-in strategy gets in the way of logical plays that a human would make in certain circumstances. It's frustrating when you have a run of six on the board, your partner has two in their hand, but won't play one to complete the canasta...even if it's the first one needed in order to go out. That's just one example. Human partners interact differently than the algorithm allows.

A major downside is that the programme seems to be written by someone who has never played the game, and has only a vague idea of strategy, if any! Play this game for fun, but don't get your blood pressure checked right after. New update made it far worse. One's partner now seems to be playing for the opponent. Tosses cards that would win. Game sucks.
