About this app

Benchwork Ballistics is a private, offline ballistics calculator for rifle shooters, with a reloader's notebook built in.

A FULL SOLUTION AT A GLANCE
Pick your rifle, load and muzzle setup and see holds in MOA or MIL and as turret clicks for any distance, plus a trajectory table and graph out to your maximum range. Temperature, pressure, altitude, humidity, wind, shot angle, spin drift and Coriolis are all included.

QUICK BALLISTICS
No setup? Enter a bullet, a velocity and a zero and get the whole solution anyway. Save it as a rifle whenever you like.

RIFLES, LOADS AND SUPPRESSORS
Save each rifle with its loads and muzzle configurations (bare, suppressed, brake), including the velocity change and point-of-impact shift, so your holds are right either way.

COMPARE SETUPS
Set two or three setups side by side: another load, another rifle, Quick ballistics, or the same setup in different weather. Cards, a difference graph and a table show exactly where they part ways.

RELOADER'S NOTEBOOK
Keep your own recipes, batches and chronograph sessions (average, SD and ES), and link a recipe to a load so your measured velocities flow into your solution. The notebook holds your own records; it does not provide load data.

TEMPERATURE-AWARE VELOCITY
Powder velocity changes with temperature. The app works out how much from your own chronograph sessions (or you can type it) and adjusts your solution to the day's temperature.

BULLET LIBRARY
Over 1,200 bullets with ballistic coefficients (G1, G7, and RA4 for .22 LR), searchable by maker, caliber and weight, plus your own custom bullets.

RANGE CARDS
Print or share a compact dope card as a PDF or an image.

BUILT-IN HELP
Every screen has a help page, with a glossary of ballistics terms, step-by-step examples and an optional guided tour.

YOURS TO KEEP
Back up everything to a file and restore it any time, or share a rifle as a file. No account, no ads, no tracking: your data stays on your device. The only time the app goes online is when you ask it to check for a bullet catalog update.

IMPORTANT
Results are predictions, not guarantees. Always confirm your data at known distances, handle firearms safely and follow the laws where you shoot. Reloading is hazardous; always follow current published reloading manuals.
