DNS Firewall app is easy to use, & it actually works, & does an excellent job at keeping away malware from your device!!!! Both known & unknown malware of all kinds. You can also white list websites so that they won't be blocked & you can put a website on the block list if it is malware related. The app doesn't slow down web browsing, or slow down your device!!! App is updated regularly as well!! App is highly recommend!!!!!😀👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not effective at blocking ads. I contacted their help desk to see if I could figure out why its not blocking any ads, even with everything toggled on. It works at blocking adult sites, at least one I tested, but not at blocking ads. It also doesn't seem to work very well at blocking gambling. It allows Ceasars sports booking to load, for example. Gambling ads come right on through no problem. This is a very easy fix, just allow us to upload or subscribe to custom block lists, like EasyList.

Works well if you don't want to access known sites related to the topics listed. It's not an ad blocker nor does it claim to be. It'll help protect you in the configuration you choose, but this is the internet. The only way to fully block something online is to go offline. Use NextDNS if you want to block ads. They do an exceptional job of it as well.
