It's a nice, well made game, don't get me wrong. It'd be fun for someone who likes challenges but I prefer excitement and story. It just gets really repetitive, especially as the modes are mostly the same except for your character (from what I've seen). I can play just by skimming the text, and for a text-only game that's a problem since text is the whole focus. It also gets annoying when most of my equipment and items (which make or break a run) are rnged and I have to get lucky to proceed.

Hi Lina, thanks for the review and the feedback! I understand this can't be the game for everybody, but still I hope to improve the game on the points you mentioned.

dont get me wrong this game is great, the concept is amazing and the way it plays is very intuitive, it's fun to play and though a little repetitious it is worth what you pay by far. but it is VERY difficult and luck based where you start off and die 5 minutes in because the game gives you an enemy with no weapon on you, low health and no money to run. as well as invest a solid hour into a run to have it all come crashing down on you at the end with a bunch of random events that strip you naked.

Thanks for the feedback! I know it can be frustrating, but part of the game is to die a lot :P With every failed attempt you learn about the dangers of the path, making you better prepared for your next run. Good luck!

A good and fun game, the only micro transaction being one to continue a game when you die. The randomization is fun, but once you play through about 5 times you've probably seen every encounter so that dampens the replay value a bit. The fact that the plot is always the same also feels a little lackluster. But the game is very well made, very pretty, and it's fun if you don't mind a little repetition. Lack of micro transactions being pushed on you is a definite bonus.
