About this app

Daily Reader gives you a simple way to view and hear each day’s scripture text and accompanying commentary.

Choose the time that works for your routine, and Daily Reader uses Android text-to-speech to read the day’s content aloud. You can also listen immediately whenever you want.

Features:

• View today’s scripture text and reference • Read the accompanying daily commentary • Hear the full reading with Android text-to-speech • Schedule automatic daily playback • Choose any preferred reading time • Add a resizable home-screen widget • Refresh the widget whenever needed • Keep the latest successful daily reading available locally • Stop playback from the app or notification

Daily Reader requires an internet connection to retrieve new content from wol.jw.org. Speech quality and available voices depend on the text-to-speech engine installed on your device.

Daily Reader is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jehovah’s Witnesses. Source content is retrieved from wol.jw.org and remains subject to its owner’s terms and rights.
