To begin, the Kenwood Dashcam (DRV-A310W) we have works quite well. That's a separate review. The app is essentially unusable. 8/10 times I couldn't even connect. When it did randomly decide to connect, it would disconnect my phone from my car as if it were a music player. It is extremely slow and very difficult to locate videos and downloading them is essentially impossible. If you get a Kenwood Dashcam, you will have to download the videos via USB-C cable to your computer to use them.

Was clunky but manageable. After recent update barely functions. Connecting to the devices wifi signal works. But now you can't download files because the transfer speed is like 1992 dial-up and it takes forever to download. Most of the time I give up I have stuff to do later on during the week.... also I am unable to locate where the older videos are stored at on my phone. If you want a decent dash cam experience...this ain't it chief.

This app is ok. I'm happy to have it then not have it. Yes it's clunky but it does work. Things are a bit slow. Live feed to phone is OK and probably my favorite feature. My main complaint is how slow it takes for videos on camera to move over to the phone app. I have the DRV-A301W dashcam and I'm happy with my purchase. The 1080p looks smooth and crisp. GPS is reliable and easy to connect dashcam to app. Overall good experience. Far from 4 or 5 stars. 3 stars is fair. Thanks for the app :)
