About this app

Dashify turns the phone already sitting on your dashboard into a full dash cam. Mount it, drive, and it records. No dashcam hardware, no wiring, no second device to keep charged.

WHY A DASH CAM AT ALL
If someone hits you, memory is not evidence. A recording with the time, your speed and your route on it is. Dashify writes all three into the video itself, so the clip you hand to an insurer or the police explains itself.

NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Open Dashify and start recording. No sign-up, no email, no waiting. Create an account later only if you want cloud backup — your recordings come with you when you do.

The in-app Store carries what a phone dash cam actually needs — mounts, chargers and car audio — shipped worldwide.
Use Dashify without an account. Tap "Continue without an account" to start recording straight away, and create an account later from Settings whenever you like — your recordings come with you, even if you sign in to an account you already had.

PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY
Camera and microphone record the drive. Location provides the speed reading and the route. Notifications tell you when recording starts or stops. Your recordings stay on your device unless you switch on Dashify Cloud.
