The new (smart) way to listen to albums. The KiTplayer is a free audio player you can download to listen to KiTalbums, watch KiTvideos, or consume KiTbooks. KiTalbums are a new physical format of music that you purchase, like a CD or Vinyl, has all the accompanying items like album booklet, extra photos, beautiful packaging; much like a CD or Vinyl of old. But in the KiT player, you get everything you bought physically, digitally.

Ratings and reviews

Sounds like MP3s, but with extra steps... I bought this because I was curious about it, and while it works, I find it stupid. While it's nice to get something physical with an album, the DRM is ridiculous. You need to "check in" with the clunky Bluetooth dongle every 24 hours to listen to the music you bought. How is this better than just buying the album on a purely digital platform, exactly? This platform will fade and fail quickly, I expect. I would advise not investing too much into it.

I just received my Kihno album for SNSD's subunit Oh! GG and was so excited to play it. I followed the instructions and it worked on the initial download. After the download it played fine. It's only been a couple since then and now I can't play it. No matter how high I turn up the volume, no matter the number of times I've unplugged and replugged back in the device no sound comes out. If this is where K-Pop musical releases are moving to I'm vehemently against it if this is how the device and software operates. Note: I'm on Android. Hopefully a positive solution can come out this but right now I'm very disappointed.

I connected to the app fine. However when it goes to play the album the audio is so scratchy and broken up, as well as slowed down. Sounds like a broken record player. Very disappointed in the audio quality. Also the app crashes and makes me reconnect after a few seconds into the song. Glad the sector17 album came with postcards and photocards to make the purchase worth my money, but disappointing that I can't listen to the album this way.
