Necromancer Returns is a turn-based strategy game in which you assemble an army and fight hordes of enemies. Peace in a fantasy kingdom has been shattered by the return of the Necromancer – a creature of darkness that wishes to enslave all living beings. Assemble the best warriors from all over the kingdom and achieve victory in an epic conflict.
In the Necromancer Returns world, you travel alongside the princess of the kingdom, exploring new lands and fighting a variety of opponents, some of which may decide to join your army. Every creature possesses special skills, opening up opportunities for various battle tactics.

Ratings and reviews

Four stars because there appear to be no in-game purchases which means if you purchase the game you will have full access at least from what I can see so far. The game has lots of grinding though so be prepared. I'm taking away a star because there's no way to link this game to your Google account which means even though I've purchased it I can't play it anymore when I switch new phones.

I had a lot of fun playing the demo, but when purchasing the full game encountered a gamebreaking bug where units would not attack. This bug still occurs from time to time, but now it's easily fixed by fleeing the battle and engaging the encounter a second time. With the bug mostly fixed I would definitely recommend this game. The battles feel very similar to the precursors to the HOMM series and I've yet to encounter any of the annoying microtransactions that plague the majority of mobile games.

Fun game but why do I have to keep restarting the game? Already played 3 times and lost all my progress. It's very annoying. Update: tried to contact twice for help and had not received a reply. It's been over a month.
