About this app

KinStatus is a simple daily check-in app for seniors and their families. It helps families know when an aging parent or older loved one is okay — without turning care into constant calls or surveillance.

With KinStatus, a loved one can quickly share their status with simple actions such as “I’m OK”, “Call me”, or “I need help”.

Family caregivers can see:
• Daily check-in status
• Last known location, when enabled
• Battery and recent app activity
• Missed check-in alerts and reminders
• Family members and trusted helpers

If a scheduled check-in is missed, KinStatus can alert the family. Location sharing is consent-based and provides supporting context when enabled and available.

KinStatus is designed for families caring from a distance, including aging parents and older loved ones who live independently or alone. A quick check-in can reduce routine “Are you OK?” calls while helping older loved ones keep their independence.

Built for elder care at a distance, KinStatus supports a simple senior care routine focused on reassurance and family communication.

Reassurance, not surveillance

The person using KinStatus actively checks in and stays in control. KinStatus is not a hidden tracking app, medical monitoring service, emergency response service, or replacement for local emergency services.

Simple for both sides

The person checking in gets a focused experience. Family caregivers get a clear status dashboard built around the question that matters most: did they check in?

Available in English and Bulgarian.
