About this app
Know Your Faculty is the global collaboration platform built exclusively for professors and researchers.
Discover peers by real research overlap — not job titles — and start conversations that lead to co-authored papers, joint grants, conference panels, and cross-institution projects.
WHO IT'S FOR
Every profile is a verified academic — professors, researchers, and faculty members from universities and institutions worldwide. Verification is done through institutional email addresses, so you know you're connecting with real, credentialed peers.
KEY FEATURES
Discover
Browse professors filtered by research category, what they're seeking (co-authors, collaborators, funding partners, and more), and location. Connect only with people relevant to your work.
Feed
Share updates, publications, and opportunities with the academic community. Tag posts by category so the right people see them first.
Opportunities Board
Post and browse open positions, grants, conference calls, and collaboration requests across academic fields.
ORCID Integration
Link your ORCID iD to automatically verify your publication record and h-index, so peers can see your real academic credentials at a glance.
Direct Messaging
Once you connect with someone, message them directly within the app to move the conversation forward.
Verified Profiles
Every account is tied to a real academic identity, verified through an institutional email address, so you always know who you're talking to.
Featured Profile
Stand out with a Featured badge and showcase your latest work — papers, projects, or talks — directly on your profile.
PRIVACY FIRST
Location sharing is fully optional, and when enabled, only an approximate distance is ever shown to other users — your exact location is never shared with anyone.
Know Your Faculty exists to make academic collaboration easier to start — no cold emails, no guessing who's actually working in your field. Just real researchers, verified, ready to connect.
