I'm still getting alerts for the tornado warning that happened 24 hours ago. when I click on it, it opens the app to the homepage and nothing more. Then sends me the same alert a few hours later. I love the map and radar feature, but wish there was an option to receive only severe weather notifications (and only once)

This app has been turned to junk and gotten progressively worse since the KSFY and (I think) KDLT merger into Dakota News Now. This used to be a top tier weather app with great features, now I get "weather alert" notification because the Canaries are playing in town tonight. You can't even get accurate future radar data anymore. Instead of the old 1 hour of past data into the next 3 hours of future radar scan, you now can either get past 3 hours scans or (not and) the next 24 hour radar scans.

I check the radar daily. I love that feature. BUT, if I have to be interrupted many times a day, even when on important phone calls, with insignificant station alerts, I will gladly delete these apps. Please tell me how to get rid of this irritating feature. The only thing I want to be alerted about is a tornado warning in my area.
