About this app

KSmart Parent is an application for parents whose children attend schools using the KSmart system. The app helps parents know if their child has arrived at class, is late, or has left, right on their phone – no need to call the teacher.

MAIN FEATURES

• Child's Status for the Day: A list of linked children with their status (Arrival / Late / Absent / Left), showing their arrival and departure times. Children requiring attention (absent, late) are placed at the top of the list.

• Attendance History: Review by week or month, quickly filter by status (Present / Late / Absent).

• Attendance Photos: View photos taken by the school when your child arrives at and leaves class, zoom in for better viewing.

• Notifications: Receive push notifications when your child is marked present, leaves class, or is absent, along with general school announcements; filter by Attendance / School group and mark as read.

• Account: View linked parent and child information, change password, delete data, or delete account directly within the app.

WHO IS THIS APP FOR?
This app is for parents/guardians of students at schools using the KSmart system. Parents register accounts using their own phone numbers. The app only displays students whose parent profile matches the phone number registered with the school — if you don't see your child, please contact the school to update the phone number in their profile.

SECURITY & PRIVACY
The app only requests Notification permission to send attendance reports and school messages. The app does NOT use the camera, does NOT access location (GPS), does NOT access photo libraries or contacts, does NOT display advertisements, and does NOT sell user data. Attendance photos displayed in the app are taken by the school's device/teacher and shared with the correct parent of that student; the parent app does not collect biometric data.
