Ratings and reviews

I've been enjoying this game. I like how there's different levels of strategy involved, from how you position units, to what units you choose for each mission, to the stats you upgrade, and what order you upgrade the units in. It's fun and has different difficulty levels so you can get the hang of things before trying harder levels, and it's challenging in a good way. There were a few places I got stuck at for a little while but I got past them eventually and it wasn't too grindy.

As a huge fan of the Kingdom Rush games, I usually avoid games that look like rip offs of that series. This games artwork and some design is clearly inspired by it but it shines as its own product. I've only done the first two missions but genuinely surprised by how awesome this is so far. same day edit: I've now earned 32 of the possible 64 stars so im half way done. its overall a solid game. i wish the units had different looks as you leveled them up.

Feels very well balanced, leveling up in battle, upgrading gear out of battle, and lots of creative choices to make between choosing your team pre- battle, who to level up first during battle, and the live decision-making as we move characters to our advantage. It's just challenging enough that it's still a cute & cozy aesthetic and a really good time
