I loved evoland 1, so I was delighted to try its successor. However the game was obviously not designed for a touchscreen interface and the controls have given me grey hairs. I loathe "meatboy" type games and with this level of clunky controls, you can't give us levels like in the windy gap, which call for precision platforming. I was enjoying the storyline, the various puzzle homages to professor layton, all that. Then I got to Windy gap. Really disappointed and won't be supporting this franchise anymore.

Easily the best mobile game ever. High graphic settings are a bit demanding but definitely worth it. Such compelling story and music design. You can see how much they have improved after Evoland 1. Some gamemodes lack the refinement needed and it in turn negatively impacts the experience but even then it can be excused for there are tons of different and diverse gamemodes to play. Overall superb game, definitely worth your money 👌.

I adore the concept of this game! The changing game modes that take you on a journey through the history of video games both feel nostalgic and keep you on your toes. I'd highly recommend playing it with an android controller, though. Otherwise, I could see it becoming frustrating fast.
