The game is very fun, until you try to upgrade something, yes you get the upgrade, yes it works as intended. But the amount of ads is i.nsane. I can't cast once without having to sit through a 15 second ad that has 3 fake skip buttons, can't be exited until you've "played through" the preview of the game its advertising, and on top of that, randomly throughout the playthrough of said preview, the entire screen will turn into a button to send you to the app store. Not. Worth. Your. Time.

Definitely fun and the characters you can play as are adorable (also thank you for the viking). I wish the characters had matching boats, but that's not a big deal. My problem is with the ads. There does not need to be an ad after every time you fish. The upgrade prices are way too high and basically forces you to watch ads to upgrade. The controls also stutter sometimes, freezing and jumping around while I'm collecting fish.

Honestly, it makes me sad to leave this review. This game used to be 4-5 stars, easy. When I originally downloaded this game about a year ago, I really enjoyed this time killer, collecting different fish & seeing what I'd end up with the deeper I'd fish. Didn't mind the ads, as I'd cast a few times at least before an ad pops up. But coming back to the game (having to restart since my old game didn't transfer over), there is now an ad after every..single..cast. And it just killed the game for me.
