Alpaca blocks unwanted and unsafe content on your device — ads, trackers, malware, phishing, adult content and more — across every app and browser, not just one.

Keep browsing age-appropriate with one-tap presets. Block adult content, gambling, drugs and more. Choose whole areas at once, or single services like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Roblox, Minecraft or ChatGPT.

FOR PRIVACY
The decision about what to block is made on your device, against a list stored on your phone. The sites you visit are not sent to Alpaca to decide what to block. We do not keep a record of what you look up, we do not sell your data, and we do not build an advertising profile on you.

Want the lookups that are allowed through to be encrypted as well? Choose Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, or bring your own secure provider.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Pick a preset, or choose your own categories
2. Android asks you to approve one permission. Alpaca uses it to protect you
3. You are protected across every app straight away
4. After a restart, protection comes back on by itself

Note: Android shows a key icon while protection is on. That is the permission Alpaca uses to see which sites are being requested, so it can block the unwanted ones. Your browsing is not routed through Alpaca, and nothing is sent anywhere to decide a block.
