Ratings and reviews

The accuracy of local forecasts is probably the best out of other apps I have, but I started getting the random NBC chime notification sound randomly through the day and night but with no indication of what app caused the alert. After calling in Sherlock Holmes, I finally figured out it was this app. There are no indications for what the alert sound was for and I cannot disable it through notification settings on my phone. Deleting the app.

Definitely a handy whether app, especially to check radar, but there are a ton of bugs and fresh ones keep coming in with every update! Issues across multiple phones in getting location correctly, flaky notifications. Sometimes the advertisement plays but not the video, sometimes a video is uploaded but there's no play button to see it! Needs work. I would give 2.5 stars if I could

This app is okay, but would benefit from a different approach, in my opinion. Like the website, it autoplays videos, such that you will see irrelevant forecasts after the first one that comes up. Less could be more. The app is gaudy and ad-heavy. I don't mind ads, but they shouldn't blow up my phone with the same noisy jingle once every minute or so. Slow loading, eats power, too many notifications. Simplify, streamline, speed, and make easier to use at a glance. I prefer kxan, wish app was A+
