Silly Wabbit

This app has a problem of constantly buffering and interrupting the live stream on the new Samsung Note 8. It works fine on my other Samsung phones. I hope this gets to the developer so they can correct the issue.

i think this app sucks a$$ i want to watch them videos and none of them will play. look if i wanted to read news i will get the news papper but i rathem see the videos... so either fix it or get rid of this garbage

STILL....THE WORST NEWS APP ON GOOGLE PLAY. You have enough money but this is the garbage you put out. You can't even change the way it looks. No settings tab. Images don't show. And it came be blamed on the horrible right wing news Corp that bought ktla because it sucked before this. WHAT IS WRONG W U PEOPLE!

Too many "articles" just link you to go check the story in a web browser or tell you to watch the story later on TV. Only got this app for local news, though I can't stand their obvious left slant.

The updated version doesn't allow full screen when you tilt screen. Also it leaves all the icons on the screen and it's not a nice clean picture as before the update.

Let me start by saying: I LOVE the KTLA news and staff! They are pleasant, professional and do a great job of reporting the news! (Kudos to the off-screen stars too!) The app, not so much. The biggest annoyance is that the videos shows inside a frame instead of full screen. This makes some stories difficult to watch because so much screen space is taken up by the same static ads. Please enable REAL full screen mode! I am about to delete the app because I always end up searching for the full screen version, either on the KTLA website or another station's app. P.S. A scoring mechanism that allows the types of stories I'm interested in and displays them at the top of the feed would be nice as well.

This last update is terrible. The app keeps crashing and i've reported it several times and nothing has happened. I watch Ktla5 every day and rely on it for all my news, but I will have to find a new news app I guess because this one has gone down hill.

I liked the previous versions. Now the app links to website and live feeds are almost impossible to view on phone. Can't expand screen view anymore.

Love the watch live feature but they play the same ad (if you're lucky that day there are 2) during commercial breaks.

The app does not let you watch full screen in landscape mode. They feel the need show an advertisement 100% of the time. The TV station doesn't have any streaming options for your television. Very backwards.

No casting capabilities. It is one of the biggest values of the app and you can no longer cast.

Was great until about 5 weeks ago, just open and hit cast button and done, butn stopped being searchable on Livestream so have to access via a URL, which sometimes (but mostly doesn't..) work anymore. Also wont cast to TV anymore, just keeps timing out. Really miss it, this was must-see Sunday am viewing. Hope they get it sorted out.

Wish the Livestream worked on a laptop OR Android device. It's constantly timing out or needing to be reset. I get it's a busy feed and a lot of people watch it via those methods now, but that needs to be taken into consideration with the stream rate. I run on gaming speed internet and shouldn't have these loading issues, ktla is the only time we have this issue

It was great till about a few days ago when I was wanting to read a news story. Said no new news to report. Was like that for a few days, then i deleted it from my phone.
