Verihop lets you verify identity details once on your device and share only the specific verified fields requested by a service.
Use Verihop to scan a supported identity document, read its NFC chip where available, complete a selfie/liveness check, and approve a secure verification request before any selected fields are shared.
What Verihop does:
- Reads supported identity documents using MRZ and NFC where available
- Uses selfie and liveness checks to help confirm the person is present
- Stores verified profile information locally on the device
- Lets you review requested fields before sharing
- Shares only the fields you approve
- Supports English, Dutch, Spanish, German, and French
For users:
- Reuse verified identity details without repeating the same manual process
- Stay in control of what is shared
- Avoid sending unnecessary documents or extra personal data
- Use a lightweight app designed around data minimization
For services:
- Receive cleaner verified fields
- Reduce manual document handling
- Avoid storing more identity data than needed
- Integrate using Verihop verification sessions
Launch scope:
Verihop currently supports identity-document verification and selective field sharing. Bank account, address, and proof-of-residence features are not available in this production release.
Privacy:
Verihop is designed so verification material is processed on the device where possible. Live selfie video, camera frames, and liveness signals are not uploaded to Verihop servers. Users approve each share request before selected fields are returned to a requesting service.
