Playmate is a unique atmospheric addition for Minecraft PE that turns familiar survival into an intense horror endurance quest. The main feature of the mod is the mechanics of accumulated fatigue: the nightmare awakens only if your character ignores sleep for two full game days. The onset of the third night marks the beginning of a dangerous trial where you are randomly assigned one of two roles in a survival game. If you get the role of the victim, your only goal will be to find the darkest and most secluded corner. In this mode, it is necessary to maintain absolute silence for sixty seconds, as the entity has incredibly sensitive hearing and instantly reacts to any noise. Successfully completing this trial guarantees you escape and victory in the night round.

However, the rules can change, and another time you will have to become the seeker yourself. In the hunt mode, you need to find Playmate three times before the timer expires, otherwise the consequences will be fatal. The enemy's cunning is not limited to simple hide-and-seek: he is capable of actively destroying your life and safety. There is a high probability that Playmate will set fire to your bed or even the entire house while you are trying to hide or conducting a search. The player needs to constantly listen to the sounds of the environment, as the crackle of burning wood will be the first signal that the enemy is already close. This mod radically changes the dynamics of nighttime, making you value every light source and check every corner of your shelter in an attempt to survive until dawn.
