Lost your AC remote? Turn your phone into one.

TCL AC Remote replaces the physical remote for your TCL air conditioner. Set the temperature, switch modes and adjust fan speed straight from your phone — no setup, no account, no Wi-Fi.

IMPORTANT — YOUR PHONE NEEDS AN IR BLASTER
This app works by sending infrared signals, exactly like your original remote. Your phone must have a built-in IR blaster (also called an infrared emitter). Most phones do not have one. Popular models that do include many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Realme, Honor and older Samsung Galaxy and HTC devices. If your phone has no IR blaster, this app cannot control your AC — please check your phone's specifications before installing.

• Switch between Cool, Heat, Dry and Fan modes
• Choose Low, Medium or High fan speed
• Large, clearly labelled buttons that are easy to hit in the dark
• Instant response — every tap fires the infrared signal immediately

MULTIPLE REMOTE PROFILES
TCL has used different infrared protocols across model ranges and production years, so one code set does not fit every unit. The app includes a range of TCL remote profiles. Pick one from the list and try the power button. If your AC does not respond, go back and try the next profile until you find the one that works. Once you know which profile matches your unit, that is the only one you need.

WORKS COMPLETELY OFFLINE
There is nothing to connect and nothing to configure. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no smart-home hub and no account registration. The app talks to your air conditioner directly over infrared, so it keeps working even when your internet is down.

SIMPLE AND PRIVATE
The app does not ask for your location, your contacts or your files. It does not collect personal information. It only needs permission to use your phone's infrared transmitter.

CLEAN, MODERN DESIGN
A clear temperature dial, an obvious power button and well-spaced controls. The layout is designed so you can operate your AC at a glance without hunting for tiny buttons.

GOOD TO KNOW
• This app controls the air conditioner only — it will not operate your TV, set-top box or other appliances.
• Point the top edge of your phone toward the indoor unit, the same way you would aim the original remote.
• Infrared needs line of sight. It will not work through walls or from another room.
• Range is typically the same as a normal remote, around 5 to 8 metres.
