Cats are Liquid - A Light in the Shadows is a minimalist 2D platformer about a liquid cat, locked in a world she doesn't quite understand, trying to get out.

The core of your movement is simple: move, jump, and climb, with your ability to turn into liquid allowing you to squeeze through tight spaces and dash across the rooms at high speeds.

As you play, you'll discover abilities which let you interact with the world in new ways. Break down walls and float high above the obstacles, all while mastering the skill of moving like a liquid cat.

The further you progress, the closer you'll be to discovering the true purpose of these rooms. Will you ever get out?

I only just now started playing, and the colors and aesthetic seem lovely. the movement is so cute, however it's incredibly difficult for me to control. I cannot seem to get the buttons meant for moving to actually move much and then I need up losing lives. I also wish there was more checkpoints so that when I get stuck on one specific part I'm not forced to redo the entire thing I finally got through. I can't get past room three and I'm hoping I can come back and eventually give a better review

I completed the whole game, and the story was absolutely wonderful! The gameplay was so free and it didn't have many restraints to what the cat could do! I'd love to learn more about the Companion too! And the "mysterious purple cat"! I'd love to play more content from you, either more level packs to contribute with the story or more games! Thank you for this amazing experience. u w u

Mobile games normally aren't good at all, if you say this about this game I can no longer talk to you. I cannot remember the last time a free to play Mobile game's story genuinely left me stunned if ever. Not to mention, the adds are little to non (only playing every once and awhile after beating a level), the gameplay is almost never boring because it's always bringing something new to the table, and it brings a challenge but it's not so hard that you will rage quit. 10/10 will recommend.
