LaunchBuoy helps boaters stay safe and informed on the water. See real-time keep-out zones, upcoming rocket launches, and maritime events on an interactive nautical map — all in one app.

Map View
View approved keep-out zones and maritime events on a nautical chart overlay powered by Mapbox and OpenSeaMap. Zones are color-coded by day so you can instantly see what's happening today (green), tomorrow (blue), and through the week ahead. Tap any zone to see event details, timing, and safety warnings.

Proximity Alerts
Know when you're approaching an active keep-out zone. LaunchBuoy monitors your position and warns you when you're within one nautical mile of a restricted area — or if you've entered one.

Rocket Launches
Browse upcoming rocket launches with live countdown timers, mission details, vehicle info, weather probability, status updates, and related news articles. Filter launches by your state, country, or view them globally. Each launch shows distance from your current location.

Waterway Infrastructure
See locks and drawbridges on the map with real-time open, closed, or restricted status based on published operating schedules. Tap for operating hours, restricted windows, draft limits, VHF channels, and phone numbers to call for passage.

Built for the Space Coast
