Oven broke on my 2nd day of play. The mechanic is 1300 coins, and cant do much with the store locked, so I couldn't play for 3 IRL days waiting for my characters to earn enough to pay it off and play again. (Only other options according to the tutorial is DIY (cant use, characters refuse to sleep), or pay real world money. Shockingly, I don't wanna throw down cash on a game that became unplayable on day 2. Earned enough to pay it off only for the washer to break 2 days later. I'm done. 🙄)

Compared to the previous games its way more boring with less to do, the character designs are unappealing, the motion blur feels out of place on the animations, the only mildly interesting thing was the community but that was lacking and shallow. the charm of the original game was going through the generations and working your way up through the career ladder to get enough money for a new renovation. Some of the goals aren't clear on how to complete them, the ogs are better and dont use ai "art"

No where near as polished as the previous versions. I'll come back after some updates. Some things to look at, devs: I picked a hat for a character and could not take it off by toggling the hat. The colors are drab compared to the previous games. The people models are creepy up close, I had a "7 year old boy" who looked 40 in the face and his name was Hubby lol. Lastly, the decor portion of the game is difficult with the current store layout. Would like to be able to sort from low to high.
