Ratings and reviews

Virtual Villagers 7 is fun, relaxing, and the puzzles keep me coming back. My biggest issue is the slow progression. Tech Points take forever to earn, and the Lava Rock pricing isn't worth it. $1.99 only gets 40 rocks, barely enough to buy anything, while upgrades can cost thousands. I don't mind supporting the game, but the value just isn't there. Better pacing and fairer pricing would make this a 5-star game.

The game is glitchy and freezes often. Time moves really fast for aging. Unless you are willing to buy enough tech points to finish puzzles, you can't grow your families fast enough before they all die. You also don't get tech points back if you have to restart your island. This game could be great if it wasn't so focused on in-game purchases.

The only thing that would be better would be to lower the amount of tech points needed to progress to the next levels of research and such..... it went from 105K to needing almost 600K for the next level. It seems like alot of dead time waiting to build tech points in order to move to the next level in order to complete a puzzle.
