LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE WITH EVIE
Have Evie repeat each sentence multiple times, then optionally wait for you to repeat.
The key to speaking the language is memorization through repetition.

Evie can translate each sentence on the fly, then read the translation out loud to you.

Ratings and reviews

Once you get the right voice, this app is a very nice read along companion that has no limits to what you can have read to you. It's quite a nice app. You can open up quite the number of settings including a pronunciation guide for the reader. The interface is a little complicated, but you can learn it rather quickly. One thing that I would really like fixed is that sometimes when a character stutters as in, "T-That's not true!" the reader will pronounce the "T" instead of blending it.

I've been using this app for about 2 years and I love most of it. I listen to books usually 10-12 hours a day, so I have a fairly large collection that's only growing. So i'd like to see an option to have books in different library's or to be able to mark books as read and drop off the list so when I'm scrolling for something to read I don't have to scroll past dozens of books that I've already read. Also maybe a timestamp on the last time you read the book. Thanks for a decent app.

I've had Evie for a couple of months now. I really like it for listening to EPUB books I want to listen to. I very much like that I can change the voice to one of a number of them. (I'm curious about Amazon's voice, but I'm unwilling to pay for *any* voice, so I guess I won't be trying it). I like that Evie gives me the option to change how long it pauses for end of sentence and commas (although the pause controls seem to work differently then they did at first). I'm happy to say that the method you described in your last note worked great to allow me to choose what to read in my EPUB books. I can now choose what place to read from, and it starts from there, just like I expected. THANKS!
