GET STARTED
1. Download the free Libro.fm app.
2. Visit Libro.fm and select your first audiobook.
3. Sign into the app with your Libro.fm account.
4. Download your audiobook(s) and start listening.

- Each month, you receive one audiobook credit in exchange for an automatic charge to your credit card. Your membership provides ongoing support for your chosen independent bookstore.
- Audiobook credits from your membership can be used on your choice of audiobooks, regardless of list price. (Note: Certain audiobooks cannot be purchased with credits due to publisher restrictions).
- Audiobook credits never expire and can be used on gifts.
- As a member, you receive 30% off additional à la carte audiobook purchases, including gifts.
- You can place your membership on hold or cancel anytime and keep your audiobooks and unused credits.

Ratings and reviews

Very happy with the company, though sometimes they don't have titles that other providers do. And wish that you can make purchases in the app (although now you can at least make a purchase if you have credits). But hopefully these are improvements that are to come. Love that I can support an indie bookshop with my purchases.

App works consistently and smoothly (significantly better than the Audible app, which crashes frequently; you would think with so much Bezos money behind it, the Audible app could be more robust). It would be nice to have buttons that skip to the start & end of the current chapter, in addition to the current +/- 15sec. Otherwise it's great. Note: books in series aren't presented in order, so it takes some effort to identify the next volume--would be a useful addition in future updates.

Awesome Way to support local bookstores and listen to books! I'm so glad I started using this after searching for an alternative to Audible. I haven't seen any ads. I have a paid membership and honestly it's competitive with Audible on price. I would say the only thing I wish the app had was a listen log so you can back track where you left off. I often fall asleep with my earbud in and even though I use the sleep timer function, I end up accidentally turning on my book in the night at times.
