GET STARTED

2. Visit Libro.fm and select your first audiobook.
3. Sign into the app with your Libro.fm account.
4. Download your audiobook(s) and start listening.

I love Libro's commitment to indie bookstores and their selection of books. I've been a member for nearly three years and have purchased 35 books. However, after a while, the app starts crashing, no matter if it's connected to Bluetooth or I just listen through the speaker on my phone. I then need to reinstall the app. I also use Libby and two international audiobook apps (Luisterrijk and Woblink) and Libro is the only one that has this issue so I don't think it's my phone. It is frustrating.

Review edited. The app works great for me. It's not exactly an organic presentation but its very workable. The few problems I have had were handled with quick responses from real people. Easy. My frustration is having to leave the app to shop, but that is probably due to issues beyond the apps development. Libro doesn't offer the same things as it's main competitor but its beautiful to know that you are helping keep a small bookshop alive.

My consumption of books is up, lame YouTube content down. I've been enjoying several books lately. The player has no issues. Easily downloaded for a long car ride with no issues. When I had an issue with my phone, the DRM-free download meant I could still listen. Edit: My issue was with my phone, excellent app!
