Not worth the limited control, just use a remote. It won't work unless you allow it to record audio, access location, and access files. Completely locks up if you deny said permissions. It's just a data-mining app, based upon the requests for unnecessary permissions it requires to allow you to manage colors on a light. I would suggest just using some generic RGB lighting control software, or the remote that came with the light.

The app barely works. I have like 5 or 6 led strips in my room and when u go to connect there is nothing telling you to turn your Bluetooth on so that took 20 min to figure out. Then, you have to make sure all the led strip plugs are facing the right way or it won't work. After that, you have to connect them which half the time doesnt work. Even more so, when you finally connect them all they randomly disconnect, aren't the same color, and keep fallingd down. It took 40 min to get it all set up.

Call me paranoid but there is no reason why an app to control remote LED lighting via Bluetooth needs access to both my photos and microphone simply to get installed. I could understand if you want to enable it later to sync music with the lights, but it should NOT be mandatory to install the app. Immediately uninstalled after I denied access and it kept cycling trying to ask permission.
