Anyone who's taken kids to a theme park knows the problem. One's too short for the good coasters. One won't go near a drop. The teenager only wants the biggest, fastest thing in the park. And you're standing there, a few hundred dollars into tickets, just hoping everyone has a good day.

Rideable is built to solve exactly that. Set up each person in your family once — their height, what they like, how much thrill they're up for — and Rideable tells you, for any park, who can ride what. Not a vague star rating for the park, but a real answer for YOUR group: how many rides each kid clears, who might run out of things to do, and which rides you shouldn't miss.

What you can do with it:

- Score any park for your family. A per-person breakdown before you buy tickets, so a park that strands your 6-year-old doesn't look like a 5-star day.
- Check heights the honest way. Every ride's real height requirement, so you know who's riding before you're standing at the gate.
- See live wait times. Real queue data, so you spend the day riding instead of waiting in line.
- Dodge the crowds. Every park and date gets a predicted crowd level, so you can plan your family's visit for a quieter day — and when you tap the days you're free, Rideable picks the calmest one for you.
- Set wait-time alerts. Pick a ride and the longest wait you'll put up with, and Rideable pings you the second the line drops below it — so you hit the headliner at a 20-minute wait instead of watching the board all day. It'll also tell you when a closed ride reopens, and remind you before shows and parades start.
- Use the park maps. Satellite maps with every ride and restaurant, plus the walking paths.
- Keep a ride log. One tap to log a ride for any family member — kids love collecting them, and it turns into badges and stats.
- Build a bucket list. Track the rides everyone's been wanting to do.
- Plan the trip. Keep the dates, who's coming, and the whole day's plan in one place — with nearby activity ideas for rest days and rain-outs.
- Hand it to a kid. Kid mode lets younger ones log their own rides safely, without getting into the rest of your app.

Rideable covers 58 parks across the US and Canada, and goes deepest on the Florida parks — Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens Tampa, and Legoland. (I'm in Tampa and have had a Busch Gardens pass for the better part of 30 years, so those got the most attention.)

It's free, and it works without an account. Your family's profiles stay on your phone — no login, no sign-up, and no server holding your kids' information. Nothing to sign up for, nothing sold.
