Smart Connect is an innovative technology we developed in-house to control, simplify and customize compatible Lezyne LED lights. Using this free phone app, Smart Connect lights can be controlled and programmed either as a combo or individually. The simple interface of the app is used to control your lights on the fly, or to custom program the modes. If the front and rear are linked, the front light will now wirelessly control the rear light as you toggle through the modes, even if you are not connected with the app.

I can't get it to move past the scanning for devices. I let it at for 15 minutes while it "scanned for devices". My devices were on and right next to the phone. I have done this at least 4 times. I even tried doing it with devices off and away to see if it would say no devices found and it just keeps scanning and scanning. I bought 3 lights so I definitely don't think it's the devices themselves.This app is useless.All three lights I purchased are in fact the smart ones. They all have the symbol

This app is useless...terrible customer experience. This is the perfect definition of over engineering. You don't need to add an intro video for every time the user opens the App.I have tried to connect my lights for over an hour, and it doesn't work. I haven't been able to connect the lights to the App and I haven't been able to use the lights without the App. It seems that the lights can't connect to anything then they shut off after a few seconds. Very disappointed with the brand. Will return

Hi, the introduction video takes the place of a "loading bar," and cuts away from it as soon as a light connection is detected. The lights do function without the app, so please submit a request at support.lezyne.com and we can troubleshoot your issue. Thanks!

I just don't see the point in an app that can switch on and off your lights, if they need to be switched on to connect. Basically it becomes an app that can only switch off your lights, and the connection takes so long to complete you could physically turn them off quicker than you can whip out your phone, unlock it, launch the app, wait for it to connect, and then power them off. Pointless.

Hi, the light control is a secondary feature of the app, and due to the connection method does have compromises. The primary purpose of the app is the ability to pair a front an rear light to allow for simultaneous control, and also to customize your light modes front and rear to use only what you need or want, in any order. Thanks!
