About this app

A simple, secure, off-grid, mesh communications app powered by the open source MeshCore project.

To use this app, you must have a supported LoRa radio device, that has been flashed with the MeshCore Companion Firmware.

Once you've installed the app, you will need to:
- Pair with your MeshCore device using Bluetooth.
- Set a custom display name.
- and, Configure your LoRa radio settings.

That's it! You can now advertise yourself on the network using the signal icon, and send messages to other users you have discovered on the same frequency.

When other devices on the network have been discovered, they will show up in your contacts list.

For more information, please visit the MeshCore GitHub page.

it annoys me a lot that after paying for the instant access to repeaters it now defaults to this rather than the details, like honestly it's more annoying than the 10 second wait was... I would have rather kept the wait and just donated $10, if the dev reads this, delete my license, I've traded one minor inconvenience that happened rarely, and turned it into an extra step just about every time I want to use the app.

App works great! Was able to connect right away and chat in public, discover other nodes, login to a repeater without issue. As a new user to mesh I appreciate the intuitive design to the app. I installed it on older phones and discovered that you may have to turn GPS on for it to connect to your device. Seems like the bad reviews are small nit picking issues not about the functionality of the app. Works great. Oh and if there's no one to connect to, be the person to get the word out.

I'd love to use this in preference to Meshtastic but I appear to be sitting in the massive black hole that is Shropshire? One comment about the map on the MC website (I realise this isn't on the app but anyway). The map is littered with nodes added over 6 months ago that aren't now active. This is really frustrating when you are stuck in a hole trying to connect to a repeater which turns out to no longer be there. How about removing nodes/repeaters/rooms if they haven't been updated in 6 months?

What’s new

- added altitude to telemetry response
- added button to send channel message again if no repeats heard
- added ability to see last heard for rf map and discover map markers
- added contact settings checkbox to show/hide public key in contacts list
- wifi connection history is now saved
- trace map now auto hides non-selected repeaters when running trace
- fixed bug where outbound snr value in discover nearby nodes tool would show 54+ SNR
