About this app

A simple, secure, off-grid, mesh communications app powered by the open source MeshCore project.

To use this app, you must have a supported LoRa radio device, that has been flashed with the MeshCore Companion Firmware.

Once you've installed the app, you will need to:
- Pair with your MeshCore device using Bluetooth.
- Set a custom display name.
- and, Configure your LoRa radio settings.

That's it! You can now advertise yourself on the network using the signal icon, and send messages to other users you have discovered on the same frequency.

When other devices on the network have been discovered, they will show up in your contacts list.

For more information, please visit the MeshCore GitHub page.

App works great! Was able to connect right away and chat in public, discover other nodes, login to a repeater without issue. As a new user to mesh I appreciate the intuitive design to the app. I installed it on older phones and discovered that you may have to turn GPS on for it to connect to your device. Seems like the bad reviews are small nit picking issues not about the functionality of the app. Works great. Oh and if there's no one to connect to, be the person to get the word out.

Meshcore is an outstanding app that simply works. It's free, ad-free, and delivers a full mesh experience on devices like the t114, HT V3, and t-echo (and other client nodes) Unlike the Meshtastic app, where I couldn't get a message for a month, Meshcore established reliable communication paths within days. Don't worry about licensing—it only affects standalone devices and while it gives you more options, it is not necessary. Give it a go and you won't regret it.

I'm just getting started with MeshCore after having found out about it via Andy Kirby on YouTube, my experience with this app and MeshCore as a whole has been positive, the app is very easy to use and everything you need from messaging to repeater admin are all just a tap or two away. While there is an option to pay to remove a 15 second wait to get into repeater admin pages I feel it was worth the money given the quality of the app and also the progress MeshCore itself has made in a few months
