BRCApp was born from the collaboration between LifeCharger srl and the researchers of the SSD Nutritional and Metabolomics Research of the IRCCS Foundation National Cancer Institute of Milan to support women carriers of the BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 genetic mutation.
This has allowed us to develop a useful tool for building a large community of women carriers of mutations. Through the BRCApp, women will be able to provide information and receive content regarding diet, physical activity, smoking and alcohol aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle. The data collected, if the user allows it, can be used by the Institute's researchers to understand which lifestyle factors and other elements are actually associated with the development of the disease.
