Unlike basic screen time tools, Limitter syncs across your phone and browser extension so your limits follow you everywhere. If you spend time on an app on your phone, your remaining time updates across all connected devices instantly.

HOW IT WORKS

Choose the apps or websites you want to limit, set a daily time allowance, and Limitter blocks access once your time runs out.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE USAGE

To enforce limits on websites (not just apps), Limitter uses Android's AccessibilityService API to read the address bar of supported mobile browsers and detect which website is currently open. This is the only way Limitter can tell that you are on a website you have chosen to limit, since Android does not otherwise expose in-browser navigation to other apps.

Limitter uses this permission solely to detect the current website domain so it can enforce the daily limits you set. It does not use the Accessibility Service to read any other on-screen content, capture personal data, record audio, change your device settings, or alter the user interface of other apps. Website blocking is entirely optional — Limitter's app-limit features work fully without granting this permission, and you can disable it at any time in your device's Accessibility settings.
