The Android version has most of the functionality of the Windows version. And is much more convenient to use with the amp. But on Android even uninstall fails to remove unwanted saved preset files. Further Android file managers fail to find these preset files. Whereas on Windows the file manager can find the saved preset files. And then remove them. Also the Windows version of Catalyst Edit, unlike the Android version, can rename the preset files.

The app has every function that you need but it crashes every time I try to save what I've done, making the mobile version unusable. That's particularly disappointing as using the computer to use Catalyst Edit can be cumbersome, particular when you've got a few things plugged into the amp already. A fix for this bug would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to work very well . You will want to use hum and bias and the noise gate is very adjustable to the point of cleaning up a fuzz pedal. It's not just a clip off. If you go jam you will want to use your phone with it. You can store as many profiles as you want. You can have 12 channels. But you can also have many more mixes in your phone. Not bad for a $500 combo amp
