I love lingodeer. It has much better grammar explanation than duolingo or any other app. And i like you can buy it forever, not a subscription. I love recording and comparing my pronunciation with the native speaker. And while i haven't gotten to all the advanced stuff i want to test myself on yet, it seems to have the testing of conjugations that i was seeking! I wanted something that presented all the options of a conjugation and asks you to pick the correct one. Very happy with lingodeer.

If you have a difficult time learning a new language, the annual subscription is the way to go. Take your time, repeat lessons and progress. Learning a language with a completely different lettering system is really hard! I don't want to learn to read the language, but this forces you to. I found the same was true in another popular language learning tool. But I guess that's how to learn the individual sounds, to pronounce the words.

I much prefer this program to duolingo for it's superior cost, variety, and alphabet section. I can't quite award it 5 stars just yet, since I'm new to the app, but so far I will say the experience is far more rewarding if you are serious about trying to learn a language. Duolingo may seem a bit more fun at first, but if you are persistent I think you will find Lingodeer a bit more effective.
