Literal Word exists to promote the word of God and not much else. No ads. No articles. No distractions. Simply the Word. We believe that the Bible contains the most important information that anyone could ever come across and that accessing it should be as easy as possible.

This belief has driven every decision we've made designing Literal Word. The app is 100% free and functional even when you're offline. The NASB 1995, LSB, ESV, and KJV translations of the Bible were selected for faithfully utilizing a word-for-word instead of a thought-for-thought translation method. Each passage of the Bible is clean, customizable, and convenient to access, allowing the reader to focus exclusively on the God-breathed content. Word searches are simple but powerful, featuring a unique visual interface for organizing results with precision, and complete lexicons for original Hebrew and Greek words can be viewed with just a couple taps.

It really comes down to the fact that a straightforward approach to a Bible app maximizes attention to the word of God.

Phenomenal Bible app, I happened to find this and I am blown away by how friendly the UI(user interface) is. It's easy to navigate, has a beautiful design, built-in lexicon, easy access for notes in highlighting, quick access catalog for previous annotation, and you have the option to backup your information. I would give more than 5 stars if possible, amazing study aid/tool!

This app was a direct answer to a prayer of my heart. I did not want a bunch of extra information thrown at me, nor did I want ads. I did want a lexicon and word-for-word Bible translation though. I had a dream about the perfect Bible app, and I woke up crying as I realized it was not real nor was it on my phone. God eventually led me to this app - it was exactly as I had seen it in my dream, right down to the paper color theme option and the ability to remove verse numbers. Thank you, Jesus!

Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for such an incredible presentation of the Bible & such a simple, intuitive method of studying & moving through the Word. It's fast, efficient, clean & minimal, but deeply thorough with the Greek and Hebrew lexicons. One suggestion - your search function is wonderful & visual, but it would be helpful if our own notes could be indexed & accessed in the search. I have built a lrg collection and I use symbols to organize & categorize, but I can't search by them.
