About this app
Live World Staff connects employees directly to the Live World workforce management platform. Use the same account your employer creates in Live World. No separate Staff Tracker account or website is required.
From the app, employees can:
• See today’s assigned shifts and upcoming roster
• Claim available shifts when enabled
• Clock in and out using the attendance method configured by the employer
• Use manual attendance, automatic geofence attendance, or manual attendance that requires being inside the assigned geofence
• Share live location during active work, including in the background when enabled
• Complete patrols, tasks, checkpoints and welfare checks
• Submit incident reports and attach evidence
• Review required documents, licences and verification status
• Complete an optional selfie check when an attendance rule requires face verification
Location sharing is transparent and employee-controlled. Before background location is requested, Live World Staff explains how location will be used. While sharing is active, Android displays a persistent notification. Employees can stop sharing at any time or sign out.
Employers configure sites, geofences, rosters, attendance rules and employee accounts in the Live World dashboard. Supervisors can then see attendance events and live operational information in one place.
Live World Staff is designed for employer-managed workforce operations. It is not a public location-sharing or social-tracking app.
