This could be a perfect app if it read the words rather than showed them, so it tested long term memory; and if you could have different profiles to switch between so word lists could be saved to check back on later. Also I'll agree with the upper/lower case point made by others. As it is, it's sort of helpful, but whether it helps with long term recollection is uncertain. A decent price to kill the ads. Keep working on it!

very basic and boring. It did not interest my son at all. it basically just shows a spelling on a piece of paper and then the child has to type it in. you're also expected to pay for the app if you don't want games advertised constantly (which is poor for a child's app). I didn't mind paying £1.49 when I thought it would be potentially helpful but the app is so basic, slow and poor that I definitely regret the purchase

This is exactly the kind of app I needed for my use case. Adding my own frequently mispelled words instead of having a bunch of random ones provided is great. However it really sucks that it can't be shared in my family library which was the other feature I really needed. I also agree with a previous commentor that having the option to hear the words instead of seeing them would be a very useful addition.
